Ivry Fort - ECPAD

The ECPAD, which has been the Ministry of Defence's audiovisual archive centre since 1915, has been restoring, preserving and promoting an exceptional collection of images since 1946.

Its invaluable collections, which range from autochrome to contemporary digital reportage, today represent 6 million photographs and 25,000 films titles, which are widely used by the media, publishers and researchers. 

The quarries of Fort d'Ivry are once again the object of covetousness on the part of many producers and directors, and are regularly used as a setting for filming.
